Crop Production
- About 13.50 lakh hectres of
paddy crops, 2.60 lakh hectres of non-paddy crops and 1.76 lakh hectres of
horticulture crops were damaged.
- About 8.10 lakh hectares would be brought under agriculture crops and
1.40 lakh hectares under horticulture crops during Rabi 1999-2000.
- Rs.28.50 crore have been released under
various programmes. Rs.28.30 crore is available with the State Government
for horticulture development programmes.
