Normal power supply is restored at Great Nicobar and Kamorta Islands . Power supply is being made with Gensets in Car Nicobar, Teressa, Katchal, Great Nicobar, Little Andaman and other Islands . 100% power supply has been restored at Kamorta, Neil, Havelock, Long Islands, Great Nicobar, Middle Andaman, North Andaman and Champin. 12 hours supply has been restored in Car Nicobar and 53 camps have been electrified by Gensets. A total of 595 Gensets were received at Car Nicobar of which 266 are being used and rest distributed. 50 portable Gensets are operational in Teressa, 30 in Katchal. Power supply is available for 12 hours in Nancowry including Champin village. 24 hours supply has been restored in Great Nicobar Islands and all relief camps have been electrified by Gensets. 5 hours supply restored in Little Andaman headquarter. 1 unit (1.75 MW) at Kalpong Hydro Power Station of NHPC has been made operational which has improved power supply in North Andaman.
